Japanese Breakfast Rice Bowl (Tamago Gohan)
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup uncooked basmati rice
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Optional: Seaweed, green onions
Instructions
- Bring the rice and 1 cup of water to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- As soon as the rice is cooked, place in a bowl and immediately crack the egg on it and mix with some soy sauce.
- Serve or add in some seaweed and/or green onions.
